Food Services Program
San Luis Coastal Adult School is excited to offer a Food Services program to prepare students for a career in the Culinary industry. Classes and certification are offered for Servsafe, Servsafe Food Manager, and California Food Handlers.
Students must be at least 18 years old to attend the Adult School. We're committed to providing students with ongoing support, materials and offer individualized learning plans to help students achieve their educational goals.
All classes are FREE. Classes will be offered in the evening. Please complete the enrollment process below if you are interested in attending our Food Services program in the Fall school year of 2025-26.

Meet Chef Tom Jaggers
Chef Tom Jaggers is an experienced Chef & Culinary Educator with a strong background in teaching Culinary Arts within the Career & Technical Education (CTE) pathway. Dedicated to inspiring high school and adult learners, he combines professional culinary expertise and training with engaging instructional strategies that prepare individuals for both industry careers and lifelong appreciation of the culinary arts. With a focus on hands-on learning, safety, creativity, and teamwork, Chef Jaggers strives to cultivate the skills and qualities that define successful chefs and professionals.

Training: Le Cordon Bleu
Experience: 15 years in the Professional Kitchen, Catering, & Private Chef
Educator: 15 years -- CalPoly, Cuesta College, San Luis Coastal Unified School District, & Lucia Mar Unified School District
