Registration & Fees

Class Confirmation

As soon as we receive your cash, check, cashier’s check, or credit card number you are registered in the class. You will not receive a written confirmation from us unless you request it. If you want a confirmation just send us a self-addressed stamped envelope with your registration and payment. In the event a class is full or has been canceled at the time we receive your mail-in registration, you will be notified.

 

Admission & Class Registration
All classes at San Luis Coastal Adult School are open to adults of San Luis Obispo and neighboring communities. Registration and payment of fees for FALL begins August 13th. Preregistration for all classes is required.  Please register at least 1 week prior to the first class. This will prevent classes from being cancelled due to low enrollment. All registrations will be dated and processed in the order they are received. Use one of the following choices for registering:

  • Online Registration
    Quick and easy! Select the 'Online Registration' tab on the left and follow the prompts. You must be paying with a credit card to register online.
  • In Person
    Just come into the Adult School office during business hours and we will assist you with registering for the class of your choice. To continue to serve you better, the Adult Schoolaccepts VISA™, MasterCard™, and DiscoverCard™.
  • By Mail
    Check out our course catalog or call to check if there is space available in the class of your choice. Print and send a registration form (you may need the Adobe Reader to open the form). To secure a spot in the class, payment must be included.

  • By Phone
    Call the Adult School office (549-1222) during business hours, let us know which classes you want to join, and provide your credit card information. It's that easy!

PARKING
All Department of Motor Vehicles regulations apply. Park only in designated spaces. City parking tickets are issued on campus.

COMPLAINT POLICY
Any complaint regarding district compliance with state or federally-funded program regulations or possible discrimination should be reported to the administrator in charge.

Insufficient Funds-an $8 fee will be charged for checks retruned by the bank.

REFUND POLICY
In the event that the class is canceled due to low enrollment class fees are fully refundable. Refunds, minus a $10 service fee, will be granted if a student withdraws no less than one day prior to the first day of class. A refund is not granted for students withdrawing from a class on the day it is scheduled to meet. Please choose classes carefully! There is no service fee charge for a student who transfers to another class.
