The goal of the Parent Participation Program is to enhance the parenting skills of parents with children from birth to age eight. This program is unique in that the parent attends class each week with his/her young child.
The classroom is a learning laboratory where parents join their children in learning age-appropriate play activities indoors and outdoors. During each class there is time for parents to interact with each other and the teacher to share their parenting challenges and successes.
Teacher led discussion groups provide age-appropriate parenting information and strategies for creating a healthy family environment, appropriate to children’s growth and development.
