To preregister for the GED test you must come to the Adult School office in person. Bring a photo ID card (driver’s license, state-issued ID card or passport) and cash, debit/credit card or cashier’s check for $160. The fee for retaking a section of the GED test is $30. To reschedule your test date you must call the Adult School at least 24 hours before the test date. There is a $25 rescheduling fee.

The current GED test will expire on December 31, 2013 and any incomplete scores will expire too. Test-takers who passed some but not all portions of the current test will need to complete the test before December 31, 2013 or start over in January of 2014. Call our office or visit the GED website for more information http://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/tg/gd/

LOST YOUR GED SCORES?

·        Official Score Reports are available from the State Scoring Center Records Dept. You may send a request that includes all information listed below to ETS-GED Records Center, PO Box 4005, Concord, CA 94524-4005.

        ·        The fee is $7 for each Score Report or $20 for each Equivalency Certificate
                 Money order is the only form of payment accepted.
